An afternoon at the pub

Most of the group, a few hours in (Emma, Chappers, Drew, we missed you)

This may sound a little redundant but we had one last gathering to celebrate my birthday. On Saturday we gathered at The Grand Union pub - they do amazing pies (savory, English pies) and of course serve a good pint. The pub we picked is almost our local (about 10 minutes) which is nice, but required a bit of a trek for everyone else - and they still showed up :)
Katherine and I got there around 2pm, and friends starting arriving about 2:30. We ended up spending the better part of the afternoon and evening there. It was a great time with friends, the food was good, and they didn't run out of beer or wine, so a successful evening!
